Why Pilates-Port

Pilates-Port is about more than exercise

Pilates-Port was created to offer something many women struggle to find -

Pilates that feels calm, supportive, and genuinely personal.

Over time, we saw how many women felt unsure about movement;

not because they didn’t want to move, but because classes felt too fast,

too pressured, or simply not designed with them in mind.

Pilates-Port exists to change that experience.

How we teach

At Pilates-Port, we believe movement should build confidence, not anxiety. Our approach is:

  • Gentle but purposeful

  • Guided, not rushed

  • Adaptable to the individual

  • Supportive at every stage

Whether you’re joining a studio class or following a session at home,

the focus is the same - helping you feel more at ease in your body.

Meet Becky

Becky is one of the founders and lead instructors at Pilates-Port.

Her teaching is grounded in care, attentiveness, and a deep understanding

of how bodies change over time.

She works closely with each client - listening first,

guiding gently, and creating sessions that feel safe, supportive, and achievable.

Rather than pushing people to do more,

Becky’s focus is on helping women feel more confident and comfortable with movement again.

In the studio and online at home

Pilates-Port supports women in different ways.

Some join us in the studio, valuing the shared space and personal guidance.

Others move with us at home through our online sessions,

enjoying the same calm instruction at their own pace.

Others do both.

What matters isn’t where you move — it’s that you feel supported while you do.

If you’re not sure where to begin, that’s completely normal.

Some women start in the studio.

Many move between the two.
